Notes
The Negroni is a classic Italian cocktail that originated in Florence in 1919. The equal parts ratio (1:1:1) makes it easy to remember and scale. The key is to use quality ingredients, the gin should be bold enough to stand up to the Campari, and the vermouth should be fresh (refrigerate after opening).
For a variation, try a "Negroni Sbagliato" by replacing gin with Prosecco, or a "Boulevardier" by using bourbon or rye instead of gin.
