Bar Termini
Outstanding
Bar Termini is barely bigger than a train carriage, which is fitting, given that it's named after Rome's main railway station. This tiny Soho spot, founded by the legendary Tony Conigliaro, packs more character per square foot than most bars manage in entire buildings. The concept is simple: Italian-inspired drinks, served quickly, in a beautiful space. The interior nods to mid-century Italian rail travel, with marble countertops, brass details, and moody lighting. There are a handful of seats, but most people stand. It's that kind of place. The Negroni is the drink to order. It's batched in-house, perfectly balanced, and served with zero fuss. If you're someone who's spent years chasing the perfect Negroni, your search may end here. The espresso martini is equally impressive, made with espresso pulled to order from a vintage Faema machine. The menu is intentionally short. This isn't a place for elaborate, Instagram-ready creations. It's a place for perfect executions of drinks that matter. The bar snacks lean Italian, olives, cured meats, focaccia, and they're exactly right. What makes Bar Termini special is its commitment to doing a few things perfectly. No gimmicks, no pretension, just excellent drinks in a beautiful room. Pop in for one Negroni, and you'll understand.
