Aperol Spritz

Instructions

1. Fill a large wine glass with ice.
2. Pour in the Aperol.
3. Add prosecco.
4. Top with a splash of soda water.
5. Stir gently once and garnish with an orange slice.

Notes

The Aperol Spritz follows the classic 3-2-1 ratio (prosecco, Aperol, soda) and has become the defining aperitivo drink of the 2010s and 2020s. While purists may debate its merit, its popularity is undeniable. It is best enjoyed outdoors in warm weather. For a more complex version, try substituting Select or Cappelletti for the Aperol.
